CDS natural casings are sorted at our own production facilities in China, Poland, Lebanon, Egypt, and Turkey. This production stage, which requires more human resources in pure manual labor, takes place outside of Germany in order to ensure a constant supply of natural casings and keep them reasonably priced. CDS collects and processes the raw materials, such as hog casings and other beef and pork by-products, fresh every day from various European slaughterhouses using trained personnel.
